Prerequisites for Unlocking the Quest

Before Guardians can pick up The Final Strand, they must finish the entire Lightfall story line and defeat Calus. Additionally, players need to gather enough Strand Meditations to fully unlock all Aspects, Fragments, and Grenades at the Pouka Pond for at least one character class. Once these upgrades are complete, the quest automatically becomes available at the Pouka Pond in Neomuna's Hall of Heroes.

Earning the required currency involves completing patrols, heroic public events, and Terminal Overload activities across the city. Engaging with these activities ensures players become comfortable with Strand abilities before taking on the quest.

Infiltrating Veil Containment and Shadow Legion Operations

The quest kicks off with a quick conversation with Nimbus at Striders' Gate. Afterwards, players must head manually to the Veil Containment area located past Zephyr Concourse and Esi Terminal. Upon arrival, defeat the ambient Shadow Legion forces until one drops their tactical orders.

Reading these intercepted orders reveals that the Cabal have taken valuable technology to the Typhon Imperator. Guardians must navigate deep inside Calus's giant flagship in Ahimsa Park and defeat a formidable Tormentor boss known as the Imprint of Nezarec to retrieve the Veil spectrometer.

Completing the Headlong Time Trial

With the spectrometer in hand, players return to the Pouka Pond before being tasked with a traversal trial. You must launch the Headlong time trial activity from the Neomuna map in Liming Harbor. The challenge requires swinging through the obstacle course using Strand grapples and clearing out Vex combatants.

To successfully finish this step, Guardians must defeat the final Vex boss and complete the course within 5 minutes and 30 seconds. Utilizing high-damage heavy weapons and Strand mobility makes clearing the time limit straightforward.

Claiming the Exotic Weapon Reward

Upon mastering the time trial, return to the Pouka Pond one final time to complete the quest. Your reward is the Final Warning, a unique Exotic Strand sidearm. This weapon occupies the primary slot while utilizing Strand energy to tracking-mark targets.
